Terms of use
Last updated: 18 September 2026
By using Tammat you agree to these terms. Please read them before creating an account or voting on an outing card.
Acceptance and eligibility
Using the app, the website or any public outing card means you accept these terms and the privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be eighteen or older and have the legal capacity to be bound by these terms.
What Tammat is, and what it is not
Tammat is a tool for discovering places and coordinating an outing among a group: it collects votes on place and time and helps lock the arrangement.
Tammat is not a booking system and not a payment intermediary. It does not reserve a table for you and does not deal with any venue on your behalf. Your arrangement with a venue and your attendance are your own responsibility.
Place data — names, addresses, opening hours and external ratings — comes from third-party providers and from users, and may be incomplete, outdated or inaccurate. Verify it before relying on it.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately about any unauthorised use.
You may not create multiple accounts to evade a limit or a ban, and you may not impersonate anyone.
Community guidelines — zero tolerance for objectionable content
It is strictly forbidden to post or send: sexual or pornographic content · incitement to violence, hatred or discrimination · bullying, threats or harassment of any individual · content offensive to religions or sanctities · content contrary to the laws of Saudi Arabia · other people's personal data without their permission · advertising, spam or fraud · content that infringes intellectual-property rights.
Misusing the service is equally forbidden: attempting to break into it or bypass its technical limits, scraping its data, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive users. A signed-in user can report a published rating or its visibly attributed author, and can report another member of a shared group. A user can personally block a visible rating author or shared group member; while signed in, each party's public ratings are hidden from the other. This personal block does not remove group membership, votes, plan results or plan updates. Reports enter the moderation queue, with an operating target to triage and take appropriate action within twenty-four hours; action may include removing content or suspending an account.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting it you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, store and transmit it within the service, only to the extent needed to run it; that licence ends for content you delete.
You confirm that you have the right to post what you post and that it infringes no one's rights.
Intellectual property
The Tammat name, visual identity, interfaces and code are owned by or licensed to us. Using the service grants you no rights in them.
Place data from Google and from Outscraper is subject to its owners' terms and is displayed with visible attribution.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for breaching these terms or the community guidelines, or for abuse that harms another user, keeping an audit record of the action.
You may end your relationship with the service at any time by deleting your account inside the app.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not warrant the accuracy of place data or of content posted by users.
We are not responsible for what happens during your outing or at the place you chose, nor for the conduct of another user or a venue. In all cases our liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms. The last-updated date appears at the top of this page, and your acceptance of the new version is requested inside the app on any material change.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Saudi Arabia, and Saudi judicial authorities have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Apple-specific terms
This agreement is between you and us, not between you and Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app, its content, technical support, or any claims relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement and may enforce it against you.
